Hi my name is Dominique Simmons The Owner of Elite Muay Thai and the head instructor. I appreciate you attending my event in march however to answer your question about the fights i paid out alot of money to put the event on and did not make 1 single dollar off the event the ymca has no parts in the event i just rent the gym from them also all the fighters you saw that night compete are amatuer fighters and it is illegal in the state of florida as it is in many states to pay amatuer fighters. Every dollar that came in the door was used to put the event on so that local fighters have a local venue to gain experience as they further their career in the sport.
